Odd Extinction

A creature, a moment, an era, an idea. It moves throughout the beauty and tenderness of extinction. It flows on the ocean of mysteries and the spirals of the self. Suddenly there is fear, Suddenly not. There is creation, there is not. There is devastation, disintegration, evolution, metamorphosis… and it is odd.

Odd Extinction is a performance installation that was developed in collaboration with the performer and musician Ruben Wielsch in the context of Winterwerft 2021 in Frankfurt am Main. (www.winterwerft.de). Staged and Live-streamed on February 24th, 2021.

What happens after? What do we fear when facing our own extinction?

This performance inspired and guided me throughout this project and it gave me the base I needed to start writing this research.

(here, you can read and  download the full Essay).

Moreover,  it supported the artistic residencies held in collaboration with different artists.
